What is a Defensive Shot?

Wednesday, March 19, 2014

If you're not playing defensive shots, that's ok, don't mark them. Traditionally in our area, defensive shots are being played and are not being marked. When the team makes it to Las Vegas, they play and mark more defensive shots in there than at home on the local level which causes their skill level to reflect their true ability and rise. This puts the team at a high risk of being disqualified from playing in the APA. The average number of defensive shots across the nation is 2 per player match which would be an average of 10 per team match. And these averages are more than likely low. If you're playing them locally and not marking them, you are putting your team at risk of skill level changes which can lead to disqualification.
